Softball Game Preview: McKenzie Tigers vs. Pleasant Home Eagles

McKenzie is 1-9 against Pleasant Home since March of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The McKenzie Tigers will welcome the Pleasant Home Eagles at 4:00 p.m.

McKenzie is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their eighth straight game dating back to last season on Thursday. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 9-8 heartbreaker at the hands of Pleasant Home. One positive for the Tigers, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Charissa Bullard was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-4. She also brought in two RBI, marking her first of the season. Madekyn Bell was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 2-for-4.

The victory got Pleasant Home back to even at 1-1. As for McKenzie, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.
