Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Aquinas). They blew past the Pacelli Cardinals 13-6 on Saturday. The Blugolds are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 12 straight.

Aquinas' win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-2. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.2 runs over those games. As for Pacelli, their defeat ended a nine-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-3.

Aquinas will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Cardinals: the pair will be back at it again later today.
