Ridgefield never let their opponents score on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the R.A. Long Lumberjacks as they made off with a 20-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Spudders, who have now won nine matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Ridgefield is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.7 runs over those games. As for R.A. Long, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-13-1.

Coming up, Ridgefield will take on Kelso at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Spudders' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Hilanders have averaged an impressive 6.2 runs per game this season. R.A. Long does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
