Rifle is 0-9 against Roaring Fork since September of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Rifle Bears will look to defend their home pitch against the Roaring Fork Rams at 4:00 p.m. Rifle will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
Last Thursday, Rifle sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over Montrose. Malquane Mcqoy had the honor of scoring the game-winner for the Bears.
Meanwhile, Roaring Fork kept a clean sheet against Basalt on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Longhorns as they made off with a 7-0 victory. The high-scoring effort was just what the Rams needed considering they were shutout in their previous match.
Rifle's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Roaring Fork, the victory also got them back to even at 1-1.
