Recap: Windsor Forest Knights vs. Toombs County Bulldogs
The Windsor Forest Knights's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their seventh straight defeat. They received a tough blow as they fell 66-49 to Toombs County. Windsor Forest was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Toombs County apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.
Several Knights players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Trinity Myers, who scored 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Luna Munoz, who scored ten points.
Windsor Forest's loss was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Toombs County, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-14.
Windsor Forest will take on Brantley County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Toombs County, they will head out on the road to take on Pierce County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
