A Season-Best Effort from Abram Castaneda Leads Miami over Alchesay
Miami was led to victory by Abram Castaneda, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Castaneda rushed for 142 yards and a touchdown on only 15 carries, and also threw for 235 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 11.2 yards per attempt, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
Castaneda must have Alchesay's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. When Castaneda last faced the Falcons back in September of 2023, he threw for 208 yards and two touchdowns while completing 90% of his passes, and also rushed for 40 yards and a touchdown.

Another Game with at Least 139 Rushing Yards from Jeremiah Martinez
On Friday, Pima got the W thanks in part to Jeremiah Martinez playing the best football he has all season. Martinez's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his sixth straight game with at least 139 rushing yards dating back to last season. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 68 yards.
Pima pushed their record up to 5-1 with the win, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. Martinez and Pima will be playing in front of their home fans against Scottsdale Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Aiden Bejarano Delivers Best Performance of Season
Globe was led to victory by Aiden Bejarano, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Bejarano rushed for 121 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 65 yards.
The win snapped Globe's losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 2-5 record. Bejarano and Globe will face off against ALA - Anthem South at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Joe Palmer Turns in Season-Best Effort
Joe Palmer produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Pima to the win on Friday. Palmer rushed for 46 yards and two touchdowns.
