The Sutter Huskies will face off against the Liberty Ranch Hawks at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Sutter comes in on three and Liberty Ranch on 12.
Sutter is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They came out on top against Wheatland by a score of 9-6.
Izabella Pacheco spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and two unearned) runs on six hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Paytyn Schamanski, who fired off two home runs and five RBI while going 4-for-4. Those four hits gave her a new career-high.
They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: Sutter lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Liberty Ranch never let their opponents score on Wednesday. They blew past West Campus 13-0. The result was nothing new for the Hawks, who have now won 12 matches by seven runs or more so far this season.
Laura Quinn tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out seven over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 16 consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Gracyn Graviette was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Mariella Granata was another key player, going 1-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
Liberty Ranch pushed their record up to 18-5 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.4 runs over those games. As for Sutter, their record is now 12-15.
Friday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Sutter hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .348. However, it's not like Liberty Ranch struggles in that department as they've averaged .420. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
