Byron Center had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.3 goals) and they went ahead and made it eight on Thursday. They were the clear victors by an 8-2 margin over the Reeths-Puffer Rockets. Byron Center might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten contests by three goals or more this season.

Byron Center pushed their record up to 11-1-3 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 35 goals over those six matchups. As for Reeths-Puffer, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-12.
