It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but New Hope ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 victory over the Pontotoc Warriors. The win was familiar territory for the Trojans, who have now won ten contests in a row.
Kaselyn Harcrow spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on two hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.
