Basketball Recap: Eastern Takes a Loss

Eastern was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 63-56 to the Ionia Bulldogs. The Quakers were probably out for revenge after losing 81-67 to them when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Eastern's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Ionia, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 9-7 record this season.

While Eastern had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
