Basketball Recap: St. Mary's Triumphs

St. Mary hasn't had much luck at home recently (they'd lost three straight) but thanks in part to Ty Zimmerhanzel that streak is no more. The St. Mary's Rams came out on top against the Sterling Classical Soldiers by a score of 33-23 on Tuesday thanks in part to Zimmerhanzel, who posted 18 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of St. Mary's points.

The victory got St. Mary's back to even at 2-2.

St. Mary's will face off against Providence Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Sterling Classical, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Grace Academy at 6:30 p.m. Grace Academy will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Sterling Classical surely won't give up without a fight.
