Basketball Recap: North Forest Comes Up Short

North Forest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 46-37 to the Kashmere Fighting Rams. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 73-41 back in November of 2024.

North Forest's defeat dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Kashmere, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-13.

North Forest and Kashmere could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. North Forest will face off against Worthing at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday down 756 places (1240 vs. 484). Similarly, Kashmere (ranked 1010th) will meet Yates (ranked 240th) at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
