Softball Recap: Linden-Kildare Takes a Loss

Linden-Kildare fell victim to Overton and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They came up short against the Overton Mustangs, falling 7-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 14-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2018.

Linden-Kildare saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lynlee Lejeune, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base. Lejeune has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times she's played.

Linden-Kildare's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Overton, their record now sits at 5-7-1.

Linden-Kildare has already played their next game, a 15-0 defeat against Atlanta on the 1st. As for Overton, they will challenge Elysian Fields at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
