Baseball Recap: Southside Comes Up Short

Southside lost against South San Antonio back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Southside Cardinals lost 10-3 to the South San Antonio Bobcats. The Cardinals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Southside saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aiden Garcia, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Southside's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for South San Antonio, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Southside will take on MacArthur at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for South San Antonio, they will square off against Taft at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Taft's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last three contests.
