Recap: Jeannette Jayhawks vs. Springdale Dynamos
The Jeannette Jayhawks had a rough season last year, but theylook ready to turn that poor record around this year. They blew past Springdale 49-12 at home. The result was nothing new for Jeannette, who have now won four contests by 20 points or more so far this season.
Payton Molter got back to being his usual excellent self, as he threw for 293 yards and four touchdowns on only 18 passes. Another player making a difference was Noah Sanders, who gained 170 total yards and a touchdown.
When it comes to explaining why Springdale lost on Friday, one person who can't be blamed is Chase Weihrauch. Despite the final result, he rushed for 77 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries, and also threw for 19 yards and a touchdown.
Jeannette's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Springdale, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
Jeannette has the luxury of staying home another week and will welcome Clairton at 7:00 p.m. on October 27th. Clairton will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak. As for Springdale, they will head out on the road to face off against Riverview at 12:00 p.m. on October 28th.
