Recap: Mission Hills Grizzlies vs. El Camino Wildcats
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Mission Hills Grizzlies had no problem doing just that on Friday. They snuck past the Wildcats with a 24-19 victory. The victory was nothing new for Mission Hills as they're now sitting on five straight.
El Camino's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Devin Cerda, who rushed for 140 yards.
Mission Hills' victory bumped their record up to 8-3-1. As for El Camino, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-5 record this season.
Mission Hills will face off against St. Augustine at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in California (St. Augustine is ranked 39th, while Mission Hills is ranked 43rd). El Camino does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
