Football Game Preview: Roxbury Latin vs. Groton School

If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Groton School. They will challenge Roxbury Latin on the road at 2:00 PM on Saturday. Groton School don't have the home-field advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings.

While not quite a landslide, the matchup between Groton School and Rivers last Saturday was still a pretty decisive one as Groton School wrapped it up with a 33-14 win.

Meanwhile, Roxbury Latin have been struggling to pick up a victory, with their match against Thayer Academy making it three winless games in a row. Roxbury Latin took a 6-15 hit to the loss column at the hands of Thayer Academy.

Groton School took their game against Roxbury Latin the last time the two teams met by a conclusive 34-8 score.
