Soccer Recap: Dobie Comes Up Short

Dobie managed to slip by Sam Rayburn the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Dobie Longhorns came up short against the Sam Rayburn Texans on Friday, falling 4-1. The game was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but the Longhorns couldn't quite close it out.

Dobie's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7-3. As for Sam Rayburn, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6-1 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dobie will challenge Manvel at 7:30 p.m. on March 14th. As for Sam Rayburn, they will take on Pasadena Memorial at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
