Chuckey-Doak came tearing into Tuesday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Hampton Bulldogs, sneaking past 12-10. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Black Knights have posted since April 22, 2024.

Jake Hinkle and James Seidl did most of the damage at the plate: Hinkle scored two runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-4, while Seidl scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-4. Randel Sauceman was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Chuckey-Doak was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .394. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .333 or higher in four consecutive games.

Chuckey-Doak's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-5. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games.
