Mountain Island Charter scored the most runs they've had this season on Thursday, but it wasn't enough. They came up short against the Legion Collegiate Academy Lancers, falling 17-10. The defeat leaves the Raptors still looking for their first win of the season.

Camdyn Addington was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. She also hit a double, marking her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Reagan Hart, who scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 3-for-5.

Mountain Island Charter's record is now 0-6. As for Legion Collegiate Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-5-1 record this season.
