You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Mesa Vista's strategy against McCurdy on Thursday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Mesa Vista Trojans blew the McCurdy Bobcats out of the water with a 62-29 final score. The Trojans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 20 points or more this season.

Tana Lopez continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 25 points and 13 rebounds. Her evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Janessa Sandoval was another key player, putting up 13 points and seven boards.

Mesa Vista's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-3. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.4 points per game. As for McCurdy, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-7.

Mesa Vista wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 67-32 win against Escalante on the 25th. As for McCurdy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 54-44 victory against Penasco on the 25th.
