Baseball Recap: Brighton Bulldogs vs. Vista PEAK Prep Bison
Brighton never got on the board in their matchup on Friday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Vista PEAK Prep on Saturday. They walked away with a 13-10 win over the Bison. Considering the Bulldogs' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Brighton got a massive performance out of Nick Griffin, who went 3-for-5 with six RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those six RBI gave Griffin a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jude Bachicha, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with four runs and two stolen bases.
Brighton was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .393. They are a perfect 7-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Brighton's victory bumped their record up to 13-10. As for Vista PEAK Prep, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-11.
Brighton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Vista PEAK Prep, they will welcome Denver South at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Bison are facing the Ravens at the right time seeing as the Ravens are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
