Softball Recap: Advanced Math & Science Academy Eagles vs. West Boylston Lions
There's no place like home for Advanced Math & Science Academy, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Sunday. They never let the West Boylston Lions onto the board and left with an 8-0 win on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Advanced Math & Science Academy also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2022.
Advanced Math & Science Academy got a big performance out of Abby Asman, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4. Madelyn Glynn was another key contributor, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.
Advanced Math & Science Academy now has a winning record of 2-1. As for West Boylston, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Advanced Math & Science Academy will take on Assabet Valley RVT at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for West Boylston, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Gardner at 4:00 p.m.
