Baseball Recap: Cesar Chavez Comes Up Short

The Cesar Chavez Champions didn't have quite enough to beat the Marana Tigers on Monday and fell 5-4. The Champions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cesar Valentin-Rochin made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two runs. Carlos Leon was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Cesar Chavez's loss dropped their record down to 16-11. As for Marana, the win snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 9-18 record.

As of now, neither Cesar Chavez nor the Tigers have any future games scheduled.
