Volleyball Recap: Xavier Prep Comes Up Short

Xavier Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Nuview Bridge Knights. The Saints were not able to make up for their defeat to the Knights from their previous meeting back in February of 2023.

Leading Nuview Bridge to victory were Konner Castro and Cesar G. Castro had six digs and five aces, while G had two aces. That's the most aces Castro has posted since back in April of 2024.

Xavier Prep's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Nuview Bridge, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Xavier Prep has already played their next match (against Indio), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Nuview Bridge, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Canyon Springs on the 1st.
