            Renton is 0-7 against Sammamish since March of 2019 but things could change  on Friday. The Renton Red Hawks will take on the Sammamish RedHawks at 7:00  p.m.
Renton is headed into Friday's   contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 14th straight game  dating back to last season on Monday. They took  a  7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of Evergreen.
 Renton saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  David Thor, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while  getting on base  in all three of his plate appearances.
Meanwhile, Sammamish put another one in the bag  on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against Tyee as Sammamish made off with  a  21-1 victory.
 Sammamish got a  massive  performance out of  Dayne Castillo, who  got on base  in all five of his plate appearances with three  runs, three  RBI,  and two  doubles. The team also got some help courtesy of  Josh Perez, who  went 4-for-5 with five  RBI, two  doubles,  and one  stolen base.
 Renton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Sammamish, their win was  their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 3-0.
 Renton suffered a grim  21-3 defeat to Sammamish  in their previous matchup  back in April of 2024. Can Renton avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
