Trinity Christian won the last time they faced Community Christian and things went their way on Monday too. The Trinity Christian Tigers blew past the Community Christian Cyclones 57-33. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 18 matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Trinity Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Riley Burnham, who went 7-for-11 en route to 16 points along with eight assists and eight rebounds. Marlee Little was another key player, putting up 11 points in addition to seven assists and six steals.

Trinity Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in 26 consecutive contests.

Despite the defeat, Community Christian saw an underclassman step up: freshman Autumn Bradshaw went 8-for-20 on her way to 19 points.

Trinity Christian's record now sits at 28-5. As for Community Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-11.

Looking ahead, Trinity Christian won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Faith Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in Trinity Christian's favor as the squad sits on 17 straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Faith Christian Academy has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road. Community Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
