Westside entered their tilt with Howard on Wednesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They really took it to the Howard Huskies for the full four quarters, racking up a 55-23 win. The Seminoles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Taylor Talton was a one-woman wrecking crew for Westside as she went 9 of 21 en route to 21 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals. That's the most points Talton has posted since back in January of 2024. Domonique Billue was another key player, putting up 15 points and three steals.

Westside smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in three consecutive matchups.

Westside's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-8. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.5 points per game. As for Howard, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-12.

Westside will take on Morgan County at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Howard, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Westside at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Howard is facing Westside at the right time seeing as Westside is stuck on a 21-game losing streak.
