Dunbar is 9-1 against East Lee County since January of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Dunbar Tigers challenge the East Lee County Jaguars at 6:30 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Last Monday, Dunbar ended up a good deal behind Fort Myers and lost 45-31. The loss continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Green Wave: they've now lost four in a row.

Meanwhile, East Lee County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against North Fort Myers, falling 61-39. While losing is never fun, the Jaguars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 417th, while the Red Knights are ranked 192nd).

East Lee County's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Dunbar, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.

Dunbar strolled past East Lee County in their previous meeting back in November by a score of 68-50. The rematch might be a little tougher for Dunbar since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
