Basketball Recap: Mater Dei Catholic Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Mater Dei Catholic and Mission Hills squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Mater Dei Catholic had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Mission Hills Grizzlies by a score of 52-49. The Crusaders just can't catch a break and have now endured 14 losses in a row.

Mater Dei Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 7-21. As for Mission Hills, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 19-10 record this season.

Mater Dei Catholic does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mission Hills, they will head out to face off against Victory Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
