Softball Recap: Wellington School Comes Up Short

Wellington School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 13-0 to the Grove City Christian Eagles. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Jaguars' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Wellington School's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Grove City Christian, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-7.

Grove City Christian wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, an 11-1 win against Grandview Heights on the 26th. Hopefully Wellington School paid attention to the Eagles' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Eagles at 5:15 p.m. on Monday.
