Basketball Recap: KIPP Tulsa University Prep's Luck Changes for the Better on Saturday

KIPP Tulsa University Prep's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They managed a 55-50 victory over the Guthrie Bluejays. The win was some much needed relief for the Bulldogs as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

KIPP Tulsa University Prep's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-5. As for Guthrie, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. KIPP Tulsa University Prep will head out to take on Star-Spencer at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Guthrie will take on Shawnee in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
