Baseball Recap: Aurora Christian Has No Trouble Against St. Edward

Aurora Christian's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They blew past the St. Edward Green Wave 9-2. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Green Wave: they've now won seven in a row.

Nolan Robertson and Noah Hensley did most of the damage at the plate: Robertson went 2-for-4 with four RBI and one double, while Hensley got on base in four of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs. Aurora Christian is 6-1 when Hensley posts two or more runs, but 6-7 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Jack Burns, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Aurora Christian's win bumped their record up to 12-8. As for St. Edward, they are on an 18-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-17.

Aurora Christian will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Green Wave: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
