It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Glenbard North ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Batavia Bulldogs, sneaking past 49-47. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Glenbard North's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Batavia, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Glenbard North won't have much time to rest: their next game is against West Chicago at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Batavia, they will also get right back to it: they'll take on Addison Trail at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.
