Football Recap: Windber Ramblers vs. Juniata Valley Hornets

Windber played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 55-28 loss at the hands of the Juniata Valley Hornets. The Ramblers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Windber lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Cole Mash, who rushed for 154 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Dylan Woodruff helped out on the ground, rushing for 117 yards and a rushing touchdown.

Andrew Clark was his usual excellent self, rushing for 201 yards and four TDs while picking up 11.2 yards per carry, and also picking up 76 receiving yards and one score for Juniata Valley. Thanks to that big game, Clark is now up to 21 rushing touchdowns on the season. Jett Rand was another key player, throwing for 222 yards and one touchdown on only 13 passes.

Windber's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Juniata Valley, they pushed their record up to 8-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

As of now, neither Windber nor the Hornets have any future games scheduled.
