Basketball Recap: Nicollet Comes Up Short

Nicollet lost against Sleepy Eye last Sunday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Nicollet Raiders took a hard 67-49 fall against the Sleepy Eye Indians. The Raiders' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Nicollet's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Sleepy Eye, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 9-5.

Nicollet has already played their next contest, a 76-38 defeat against St. Mary's on the 6th. As for Sleepy Eye, they will host Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Sleepy Eye has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 209 points over their last three matches.
