Football Recap: Bayside Takes a Loss + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Bayside can now relate to. They took a 28-19 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Salem Sundevils on Friday. The Marlins were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Sundevils earlier this season, when they won 34-21.

Salem found their leader in sophomore Jason Harden Jr., who rushed for 174 yards and two TDs while picking up 9.7 yards per carry.

Bayside's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Salem, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-3.

Bayside does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Salem, they will face off against Green Run at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Sundevils 13.3, the Stallions 10.1) so any points scored will be well earned.
