Volleyball Recap: Hillcrest Comes Up Short + How To Watch

If Hillcrest was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Tahquitz last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Trojans came up short against the Redlands Terriers on Wednesday, falling 3-0. The Trojans haven't had much luck with the Terriers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-5, 25-17.

Redlands can attribute much of their success to Ava Reyes, who had 14 digs and two assists.

Hillcrest's loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Redlands, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hillcrest will take on Granite Hills at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. After both having extra time off, Redlands and Chino Hills will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
