Winnfield had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They took down Many 70-55. Given Winnfield's advantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 125th, while Many is ranked 274th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Winnfield's victory bumped their record up to 14-9. As for Many, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 14-19.

Coincidentally, Winnfield and Many will both be playing Rosepine the next time they take the court. Many will host Rosepine at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Winnfield will host them at 2:00 p.m. on February 22nd.
