            Baseball Recap: Campolindo Cougars vs. Acalanes Dons        
        
		
        
        
            Campolindo and Acalanes squared off in some playoff action  on Saturday, but Campolindo had to settle for second. They came up short against  the Dons, falling  10-0. The pitching woes were  uncharacteristic for the Cougars, who until this  contest were averaging four  runs allowed.
 Campolindo got a good showing from  Alex Rothey, who   pitched three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. That's the fewest  earned runs  Rothey has allowed since back in April.
Campolindo's loss dropped their record down to 15-11. As for Acalanes,  the  victory made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 15-10-1.
 Campolindo does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Acalanes, they will take on Cardinal Newman at 5:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. The Cardinals will roll in looking for their  tenth straight  win, something the Dons surely won't give up without a fight.
