Basketball Game Preview: Fowler Redcats vs. Kingsburg Vikings

Fowler hasn't had much luck against Kingsburg recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. Having just played yesterday, the Redcats will head out on the road to face off against the Vikings at 8:00 p.m. Fowler has given up an average of 65.3 points per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Fowler saw some tournament action on Wednesday. The contest between the Redcats and Tulare Western didn't end well, with the Redcats falling 69-54.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Kingsburg, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They strolled past Independence with points to spare on Wednesday, taking the game 63-49.

Fowler's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Kingsburg, they pushed their record up to 4-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Fowler came up short against Kingsburg in their previous matchup back in December of 2022, falling 50-38. Can the Redcats avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
