Softball Recap: Taylor Griffins vs. Grosse Ile Red Devils
After low-scoring totals in their previous four contest, Taylor brought some dynamite into their most recent match. They blew past the Grosse Ile Red Devils 13-3 on Saturday. The Griffins not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since April 11th (when they won 19-1).
Joslyn MacKenzie ?25 made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out seven over six innings pitched. MacKenzie ?25 was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted over her last 11 games.
