Softball Recap: Hamilton-Wenham Regional Takes a Loss

Hamilton-Wenham Regional was the 11-9 winner over Manchester Essex when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. The Generals took an 8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hornets on Friday. That's two games in a row now that the Generals have lost by exactly four runs.

Hamilton-Wenham Regional dropped their record down to 4-5 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Manchester Essex, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-3.

Coming up, Hamilton-Wenham Regional will welcome Georgetown at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Manchester Essex, they are taking a road trip to square off against Amesbury at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
