Volleyball Recap: Andrea Hernandez Key Part of Team Effort in Catamounts Win

Dalton won the last time they faced Coahulla Creek and things went their way on Thursday too. The Catamounts walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Colts. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Catamounts.

Dalton got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Andrea Hernandez out in front who had nine digs and one assist. That's the most digs Hernandez has posted since back in October of 2024.

Dalton's victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Looking ahead, Dalton will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Gilmer at 5:00 p.m. As for Coahulla Creek, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Northwest Whitfield on the 7th.
