Kingwood Park came into Thursday's contest looking for another win against La Porte, but Sean Simon wouldn't allow it. The Bulldogs blew past the Panthers 42-16 on Thursday for which the team can thank Simon, who rushed for 380 yards and five TDs while picking up 13.6 yards per carry. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 75-yard run.

La Porte didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. Tryston Oaks picked up that interception and then proceeded to rub salt in the wound by taking it back the other way for a touchdown. He got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

The win made it two in a row for La Porte and bumps their season record up to 4-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 49.5 points over those games. As for Kingwood Park, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.
