Soccer Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Kent Denver

Kent Denver proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by three) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Jefferson Academy Jaguars 2-1. This was payback for Kent Denver, who suffered a 1-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Annika Schiffner and Paige Mahoney scored both of Kent Denver's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 11 goals.

The victory (which was Kent Denver's third in a row) raised their record to 12-2. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three matches. As for Jefferson Academy, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-5.
