Volleyball Recap: Lift for Life Academy Comes Up Short

Lift for Life Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cardinal Ritter College Prep Lions. The Hawks were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Lions earlier this season, when they won 3-0.

Lift for Life Academy started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 27-29, 25-19, 25-22, 27-25.

Lift for Life Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Cardinal Ritter College Prep, their victory bumped their record up to 11-8-1.

Looking ahead, Lift for Life Academy will head out on the road to challenge Ritenour at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Cardinal Ritter College Prep, they will be playing at home against Vashon at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday.
