Football Game Recap: Yorba Linda vs. El Dorado

Yorba Linda put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 34-3 margin over El Dorado. That's another feather in the cap for Yorba Linda, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.

Yorba Linda started the match off right with 21 first-half points. Meanwhile, El Dorado couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 21-0 heading into the break. The Yorba Linda defense stood its ground in the third quarter, giving up 3 and all but finishing the game. The victory bumped Yorba Linda's record up to 5-1. The loss dropped El Dorado's record to 2-4.

Next week Yorba Linda take on Brea Olinda at 7:00 PM. The team will be hoping to continue their now three-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last. As for El Dorado, they will face off against Villa Park.
