R-S Central had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the East Rutherford Cavaliers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

R-S Central had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 17-25, 26-24, 25-16, 25-15.

R-S Central found their leader in sophomore Abby Austin, who had 14 digs. Olivia Harris was another key player, getting nine digs and two assists.

R-S Central was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in six consecutive matchups.

R-S Central's record is now 15-10. As for East Rutherford, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-14.

As of now, neither R-S Central nor the Cavaliers have any future games scheduled.
