Volleyball Recap: Braddock Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Braddock, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They blew past the Sunset Knights 3-0 on Wednesday. This was payback for the Bulldogs, who suffered a 3-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

While Braddock might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Sunset scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-18, 26-24.

Gabriel Perez-Malo paced Braddock's offense, picking up 15 kills. Perez-Malo got some help from Adrian Martin and his 26 assists.

Braddock's record is now 7-11. As for Sunset, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.

Braddock didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Palmetto on the 14th. As for Sunset, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Ferguson on the 10th.
